For our founder, Tim, guitars have been a constant fixture in life, dating back to as early as he could hold one. But while many are drawn solely to the stage, Tim fell in love with the engineering behind the music. To be completely honest, he has always enjoyed working on guitars far more than playing them.
Driven by a self-described obsession with the technical details—from the exact sweep of a bevel to the microscopic tolerances of a screw hole placement—Tim viewed the guitar not just as an instrument, but as a masterpiece of functional design. This deep, personal fascination with guitar mechanics is the heartbeat of our company.

Before channeling this passion into crafting bespoke guitar components, Tim spent 19 years as the Director of Product Development International Limited in Hong Kong and China. Managing full operations, he successfully grew a $25M business and developed more than 1,200 complex consumer products across highly demanding categories.
